Warranty & RMA Policy
This page covers warranty service and the RMA procedure used to return units for inspection, repair or replacement. Commercial returns, refunds, restocking fees and order cancellation are covered separately by our Return & Refund Policy.
Warranty period
Every standard Tittron product carries a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty period starts from the dispatch date shown on the commercial invoice.
OEM, private label and customised programmes may specify a different warranty period in the supply contract; where a contract exists, its terms take precedence over this page.
What the warranty covers
Within the warranty period, a unit that fails because of a manufacturing defect is repaired or replaced, or a credit note is issued where repair or replacement is not practical. Coverage includes the following.
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
- Failure to perform to the published specification during the warranty period
- Electronics, connectors and firmware supplied by Tittron
What is not covered
The following are outside warranty coverage.
- Physical damage, liquid ingress, and damage caused by improper installation, misuse or overvoltage
- Products that have been modified, re-flashed or repaired without authorisation
- Units with removed, altered or unreadable serial labels
- Transit damage that was not reported within seven days of delivery
- Consumables, packaging and normal wear after use
Before you request an RMA
Have the following ready so that the claim can be assessed without a second round of questions.
- Model name and quantity of the affected units
- Serial numbers, where the product carries them
- A description of the fault and the conditions in which it occurs
- Photographs or a short video showing the fault
- Invoice or order number as proof of purchase
How to request an RMA number
Email [email protected] with the subject line “RMA Request - [Order No.]”. We reply with an RMA number and shipping instructions within one working day.
Do not ship anything back without an RMA number: unlabelled parcels cannot be matched to an order and will be refused at the door.
Shipping, freight and packaging
- The Buyer pays the inbound freight to return the units to the Tittron factory
- For a valid warranty claim, Tittron pays the freight to send the repaired or replacement units back
- All duties, VAT, customs fees and local charges are borne by the Buyer unless agreed otherwise in writing
- Pack the units in anti-static or original packaging and write the RMA number on the outside of the carton
Inspection, repair and turnaround
Returned units are inspected within five working days of receipt. We then confirm whether the claim is accepted and whether the unit will be repaired, replaced or credited.
If no fault is found, the unit is returned as-is and the handling and freight costs may be charged to the Buyer.
Out-of-warranty service
Units outside the warranty period are inspected and quoted for repair, charged on the basis of components and labour. If the quotation is declined, the unit is returned as-is or scrapped on request.
Limitation of liability
Tittron’s total liability under any warranty or RMA claim shall not exceed the total invoice value of the disputed goods. Tittron shall not be liable for indirect loss, lost profit, business interruption or any consequential damages.
